  • Easter Egg Hunt at the Little White House (April 8th) Bring your Easter basket and camera for a fun, family day set in the Little White House grounds. Reservations suggested. The 3-5 year old group will begin at 10:00 a.m. The 6-8 year old group will begin at 10:20 a.m. The 9-11 year old group will begin at 10:40 a.m. Following the Easter egg hunt, children can participate in an authentic Easter Egg Roll similar to that held on the White House lawn in Washington, D.C. 11:00 a.m. $8-$12

    80 years of history belong to Roosevelt’s Little White House. Guests will have the opportunity to sign a huge birthday card that will be on display in the Memorial Museum. Celebrate this legacy with us as we serve lemonade and cookies at the home of our nation’s longest serving president. $8-$12

  • Roosevelt’s Antique Roadshow (August 4th) - 10 AM - 3 PM Visitors will have the opportunity to bring items for an Archaeologist to identify. Children will be able to learn the techniques and tools of artifact discovery as well as how to map an artifact on a grid. Tools provided $8-$12

  • The Honor Tree: A photographic Tribute to our Nation’s Soldiers (December 1 - December 31) 9 AM-5 PM Guest are invited to adorn our three trees with photographs of those who have served, or are serving, our nation’s armed forces. These honor trees will be placed in the museum through Christmas. Bring 3” X 5” copies.
     

  • Support our Troops with Care Packages: Operation Heartfelt   (December 1st) 10 AM-3 PM We are collecting care package items with Operation Stars and Stripes for those soldiers who don’t receive packages from home. $8-$12
     

  • Reading of the Polar Express (December 15, 2012 – 10:30 AM and 2 PM) A real train conductor will read The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg to children in the cozy living room of Mustian Place. Children will be given tickets to take a seat as we celebrate the season with refreshments and a visit from Santa. Children are encouraged to wear their pajamas will receive a reindeer bell as a gift. $8-$12
